The client, a foreign national, envisioned this compact, contemporary coastal home as a tranquil vacation retreat for themselves and their spouse.

With a focus on simplicity, the home comprises two distinct volumes, with one gracefully floating above the other. Elevated for privacy and to capture scenic views, the upper level is dedicated to the living spaces and master bedroom.

A carefully crafted off-shutter concrete staircase provides access to the lower level, where secondary bedrooms, services, and garages are situated. This layout ensures a seamless flow between different areas of the home while maximising space and functionality.
