Purchased by an adventurous client, the existing home underwent a comprehensive transformation, effectively demolished to its concrete basement, which served as the foundation for our design concept.

Adhering to the design guidelines of Simola, we embraced the estate’s overarching theme while infusing the exterior design with a unique individuality.

Bold cantilevered shapes feature prominently in the design, incorporated into the roof and balcony slabs, as well as in the construction of an entertainment gazebo, garden planters, and concrete canopies.

The expansive rimflow infinity pool, with its edge extending towards the view of the river as it meanders into the Knysna Lagoon, serves as a stunning focal point, blending the natural beauty of the surroundings with the modern elegance of the home.
